The objective of the camp is getting everybody to a higher level in sup surfing. For that we have choosen Chicama, a world class wave perfect for SUP. Adding to that we will have Jose Jarita, two times Peruvian SUP champion, who will be our coach.

There will be two sessions a day with water coaching from the peruvian Champion. Our photographer Wilson Flowers, will be filming all the morning sessions.

During the afternoon we will hold a class, where all the videos will be watched and analyzed. Every alumn will get their personal coaching to improve in their surfing, and objectives for the next day sessions.

Aspects to be treated during the camp:

-Paddle technique
-Body position
-Sup surfing, maneuvers and the use of the paddle
-Paddeling thru breaking waves

The wave

Chicama is known for being the world's longest wave. It is 2'2 kms( 3'5 miles) long. It is a friendly wave, with constant speed that allows you to think about your movements and body position.

It is divided in 3 sections; the bigger the wave size the longer you can ride the sections. It would be hard to ride 2'2 km all at once but for an intermediate level rider, 1 minute on the same wave is not unusual.

This is an all inclusive camp: Once you land at Trujillo airport, we will pick you up, and you won't need to worry about anything but surfing and having fun.
